INFORMATION

The undersigned accused LINDA JACINTO of the crime

of VIOLATION OF BATAS PAMBANSA BILANG 22, committed
as follows:

That on or about the 10th day of July 2021, in the City of

Baguio, Philippines, and within the jurisdiction of this
Honorable Court, the above-named accused, knowing at the
time of issue that she does not have sufficient funds in or
credit in full upon its presentment, did then and there
willfully, unlawfully and feloniously draw and issue
WEALTHBANK CHECK NO. 0019178081 postdated 12
AUGUST 2021 in the amount of Php 50,400.00 payable to
private complainant ANA CRUZ to apply for account or for
value, which check when presented by the private complainant
for payment was dishonored by the drawee bank for the
reason “CLOSED ACCOUNT” and that the latter failed to pay
the complainant the amount due thereon or make
arrangements for the payment in full by the drawee of such
check within five (5) days after receiving notice of dishonor,
and in spite of repeated demands made upon her, accused
failed, neglected, and refused to pay the amount of her
dishonored check, to the damage and prejudice of the offended
party in the amount of FIFTY THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED
PESOS (Php50,400.00), Philippine Currency.
