3.1 WORKING
The manually segregated waste is sent to the dumping area, thus making it labourer and time
consuming.
The segregation of waste into different components can be done either automatically or
manually, but for the precise results it is done manually.
The hydraulic compressor exerts the pressure nearly equal to 2000 newton /square meter.
The waste has transferred into blocks and then sent to the recycling units for further steps.

CHAPTER 4
ASSISTANCE
A well-made, well- engineered solution to a potential significant manual handling issue on any
building site with the incorporation of the automatic bin mechanism within our waste
management plan we have seen a definite improvement in site cleanliness with the benefit of
not having to replace broken bins and double handling waste.
A unique tipping action whereby bins are lifted straight up, and then gently rolled forward
around the lip of the skip or hopper being emptied into. Benefits of this design include a small
‘footprint’, and a wide range of tipping heights available, from 700mm to more than six metres.
A standard weight capacity of 250kg.
A very reliable, maintenance-free design.
A fully hot-dip galvanised frame and cradle standard (with options for full or partial stainless
steel for hygiene-critical areas).
A standard cradle which lifts almost all EN840 wheelie bins without clamping or retaining.
A modular design which can be easily modified to suit a wide range of non-standard bin sizes,
shapes, and weights.
DESIGNING AND ANALYSIS
Design software used:
The software used to design the “Automatic Bin Tipping Mechanism” is Solidworks.
SolidWorks is a solid modeling computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided
engineering (CAE) computer program that runs primarily on Microsoft Window

Analysis software used:
ANSYS 2019 R3, analysis software is used to do static structural analysis of the mechanism.

CHAPTER 5
INNOVATION
The Bin tipper any empty bin at any desired height, quickly and safely, with an electro-
hydraulic mechanism that can lift up to 250kg.
The basic design is very versatile and is today used in dozens of applications; from emptying
rubbish bins into skips to pouring food ingredients into mixers.
It features a unique geometric tipping action which lifts the bin straight up, then gently rolls it
upside down over the lip of the destination receptacle.
The sole design structure provides resolute grip in holding mechanism
A single step hydraulic pump / electric motor / electric stacker can be used for the lifting
mechanism.
The automatic locking mechanism provides locking without human assistance.

CHAPTER 6
CONCLUSION
In a nutshell, this internship has been an excellent and rewarding experience. I can conclude
that there have been a lot I have learnt from my work at “SAAHAS ZERO WASTE - WASTE
MANAGEMENT & CONSULTING SERVICES”. Needless to say, the technical aspects of
the work I have done are not flawless and could be improved provided enough time.
