Time Management: Balancing Academics, Social Life,

and Extracurricular Activities

Speaker: Bhargav Dhameliya
Service Champ at Two Brothers Organic Farms.
We proudly announce that Mr. Bhargav Dhameliya is VVP Alumni.

My personal experience being in such interactive session with Speaker was amazing. We have
learnt various things from the Bhargav.
First a fall he started asking students there ambition and future plan and it was noted that most
of the students are thinking of getting Job in good company.
So he asked there juniors that if you are doing other activities that would be helpful getting
desired job other than academic so that you stand strong managing other activities and
delevoping skill and get the desired job.
He also shared his story when he was in VVP engineering college, he have participated in other
activities such as NSS, he most active in social activities and also have participated in various
club of College such as Dance club , literature club and Nature’s club.
During his academic study he also have focused on developing his personal interest. He was
interested in Photography during his engineering days but he couldn’t differentiate between
professional carrier and hobby as he was just interested he also thought of taking drop of year
but facilities asked him to complete his engineering studies so after some months he realised
that what he was focus is just his Hobby.
He was interested in Organic farming so he has also tried best to learn more about Organic
farming future aspects, scope and marketing. He also attended Workshop which was in Chennai
during that same time Reliance, SR company visited campus for Placement but he was sure in
himself that his goal was to do workshop and get the best knowledge of Organic. He also tried
to do internship with Two brothers organic farm but he got Job there because of the Workshop
he attended and learned about it.
The things we have learnt are:
Time management is one of the most crucial aspects of graduate life in India and plays a
significant role in academic success. A graduate student’s life is hectic with upcoming deadlines,
assignments, and submissions throughout the semester, which make us difficult to focus on
other activities and social life. Hence, it is important to have a proper balance between
academics, your social life, and extracurricular activities.
Best points that I can describe that I have learnt from this session is

1)Find a Balance:

It is never a good idea to only focus on one particular area. Try to find a healthy balance between your
academic workload, participating in social and extracurricular activities, and giving yourself time to
relax. Put yourself on a schedule, but do not make it so strict that you never have time to unwind.
Having this balance will help with your time management.

2)Have the Right Attitude:

Most importantly, it is essential to believe that you can manage your time and be optimistic. Push
yourself rather than giving up most activities without exploring. Procrastination and pessimism are
the biggest hurdles to becoming effective at time management.
