Note :-
1.Since this is final phase of counselling the candidates who get
allotment should join the course within the stipulated date and time as
mentioned in the allotment order failing which the candidate has to
pay the penalty as per prospectus.
2. Since more number of candidates is called for counselling for all
categories, allotment is not guaranteed to everyone.
3. Candidates should be present in the counseling venue one hour prior
to commencement of the session notified in the counselling schedule
(Date/Time). Candidates should attend the counselling along with one
of the parent at their own cost.
4. Re-allotment will be done only for the candidates who joined the
course in the first phase of counselling within the stipulated time &
date.
5. Re-allotment/ Allotment will be done based on merit.
6. Re-allotment/ Allotment will be made subject to the availability of
seats at their turn .
7. Candidates seeking Re-allotment should bring original and photo
copy of admission slip / fee receipt / Bonafide Certificate obtained
from the Head of the Institution, who took allotment in 1st Phase of
counseling.
8. Candidate should produce a Demand Draft payable at Chennai for Rs.
1000/- drawn in favour of “Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai –
10.” at the time of counselling as processing fee. If already attended
and paid no need to pay again.
9.Bonafide certificates from the candidates whose who have joined in
any course other than MBBS/BDS course are allowed.
10 .Candidates who wish to retain the seat already selected need not
attend the counselling.
11.Candidates can attend the counselling as per the date, time and
mark mentioned in the schedule if they unable to download the call
letter from the websites
12. Candidates who obtained Re-allotment in this counseling will not
be permitted to reclaim the previous status/college after his / her turn
is over.
13. Candidates already selected for MBBS/ BDS, the amount already
paid as tuition fee will be adjusted for latest admission in this
counselling.
14. Candidates shall only opt for the vacancies available at their turn.
15. After the second round of counselling for All India Quota seats, the
students who have taken admission in All India Quota seats will not be
allowed/ permitted to vacate the seats as per the orders of the Hon’ble
Supreme court of India in W.P. No. 267/2017. 17. Bonafide certificates
from the Candidates those who have joined in any course other than
MBBS/BDS Course are allowed.
16. The candidates who were called for 1st phase of counseling were
absent not eligible to attend this counseling.
17. Mobile Phones and other communication devices are not allowed in
the counseling hall during their turn.
18. Tentative vacancy position will be displayed in the official website
www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in / www.tnmedicalselection.org. The candidates
are instructed to see the vacancy position in the official website before
attending the counselling

 The candidate should produce the following original certificates /

documents without which the candidates will not be allowed to
participate in the counselling.
1. NEET UG 2020 Admit Card and Score card .
2. 10th Std Mark Sheet
3. HSC/Equivalent Mark Sheet
4. TRANSFER CERTIFICATE FROM THE SCHOOL LAST STUDIED.
 The candidates who are selected at the time of counseling shall pay
an amount of Rs.5,00,000/ -(Rupees five lakh only) as registration
fee only by means of demand draft drawn in favour of “The secretary,
selection committee, kilpauk, chennai – 10” payable at Chennai at
the time of receipt of the allotment order.
 After the receipt of the joining report from the deans of the
respective colleges this amount will be transferred to the colleges
concerned. This fee is not refundable if the candidate does not join
or discontinues the course.
The candidates should produce the following original documents on the
day of counseling for verification. If any one of the original documents
is not produced, the candidate will be considered under Management
Quota only.

1. NRI status of the financial supporter issued by the Indian

Embassy of the respective country under their seal.
2. Ward certificate (Annexure II of the prospectus for admission
to MBBS/BDS course 2020-2021 session under Management
Quota).
3. NRE (Non Resident External) bank account passbook of the
financial supporter.
4. Passport of the Parent/ Guardian
5. Passport of the candidate.
6. Original court order, if the financial supporter is legally
declared as guardian of the candidate as per provisions in “The
Guardians and Wards Act 1890” by the Court.
7. Eligibility certificate obtained from the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR
Medical University,Chennai for the candidates of other
Universities/Boards (Except Tamilnadu StateBoard).
