ASSESSMENTS

Task 1:

1. Section 2 – Declaration Policy of RA 9163 states that “It is hereby affirmed

the prime duty of the government to serve and protect its citizens. In turn, it
shall be the responsibility of all citizens to defend the security of the State and
in fulfillment thereof, the government may require each citizen to render
personal, military, or civil service.” How can you contribute to the State as a
student of NSTP?
Answer:
As a student of NSTP, I decided to take the Civil Welfare Training
Services a program that contributes to the community's overall well-being and
enrichment of life, or that improves its amenities. My contribution is to
participate and recommend programs for the community, such as helping in
the smooth distribution on goods to the members of the community and a
helpdesk for those who seek help in their emotional status.

2. In your own words, how do you define National Service Training Program?
Answer:
In my own definition; National Service Training has 3 components: ROTC
program that deals with military training, CWTS program that deals on serving
the community and LTS program that deals to train students to become
teachers. Adding to that NSTP’s job is for the improvement of the nation by
enriching the will of the future generations to serve the country.

3. Have you participated in voluntary, civic consciousness activity, or

community immersion programs before? Tell us about your experience.
Answer:
Yes, I have participated in a voluntary civic consciousness activity before. The
activity’s name is “Oplan Linis”, in this activity we are expected to clean our whole
neighborhood to lessen flooding during rainy seasons due to trash accumulation to
the sewers, taking out debris in the sidewalk because it may cause unnecessary
incidents and to prevent dengue from emerging. It was a fun activity because I had
the chance to socialize with my neighbors and for the first time, I felt the sense of
unity.
