Topic: Issue with Matthias Matuschik

Recently one of the radio hosts of BAYERN 3 Matthias Matuschik openly

expressed his unwanted and prejudiced opinion over the global band BTS on air.
Specifically, during his program on february 24th which started at 9pm. Matthias
Matuschik was not only racist, but also cursed on a state funded News Organization’s
show, which is far from correct behaviour on such a broadcast. Matthias Matuschik
offended a large part of the listeners by relating BTS to the deadly virus COVID-19 and
wishing them dreadful things.
After receiving criticism for his actions, Matthias Matuschik excused his
wrongdoings by stating his words were a part of freedom of speech. However, that is
incorrect as it caused harm to many people globally. His response cannot even be
compared to an apology.
His actions have brought negative world wide attention. I am disgusted and
disappointed Matthias Matuschik is allowed to spread his inappropriate opinion so
freely. This is beyond unprofessional, and I request BAYERN 3 to look into this matter
immediately.
