Phase 2 Project Details & Objectives: This document provides you with guidelines for the
Phase 2 part of the project. This is a group project. Each group will continue with the
organization and role from the Phase 1 Job Analysis project.
The objectives of this Phase are to:
1. Design an end-to-end Selection Process for the key role identified in the Phase 1 Job
Analysis Project.
2. Create a detailed goal sheet with KRAs and KPIs for the same role.
3. Design an end-to-end performance management process for the organization.
You will use primary and secondary data for this phase. During Phase 1, if you collected
interview data for Phase 2 as well, then you may use that data. If you have not yet collected
interview data for Phase 2, then you will need to do so. Students are required to provide
qualitative transcripts of interviews to be attached as annexures in your report. Also provide
contact details and proof of interaction with the industry professionals (an email from them). If
you are recording the interview, please ask for permission from the interviewee before recording
the conversation. You may interview around 2-3 industry professionals.
Report Format: The report must be left-flushed, double-spaced, in Times New Roman font of
size 12. It should include these sections:
1. Cover Page: Include Group Number, Student Names and Roll Nos. in ascending order.
2. End-to-end Selection Process for the key role: Provide a detailed description of the
selection process with the selection methods that will be used and the sequence in which
they will be used. Elaborate on your chosen selection method/s, explain how it will be
conducted and provide a sample item. Also, provide a justification for each selection
method and explain which critical competencies it will assess for the key role.
3. Goal sheet with KRAs and KPIs for the same key role: Provide 5 critical KRAs and KPIs
meeting the SMART criteria.
4. Design an end-to-end performance management process for the organization: Provide a
detailed description of the performance management process with each step in the
process, the appraisal methods to be used, the frequencies and the justification for each
step and method. Also demonstrate how the process you have designed aligns with the
strategic goals of the organization.
5. References.
6. Annexures: See project details above to determine what to put in annexures.
7. Plagiarism report: Please run your report through an online trusted Plagiarism software
and submit a plagiarism report as an annexure. Similarity index in the plagiarism report
should be less than 10%.

Presentation and Viva: Each group will present the Phase 2 project for 10 minutes followed by
2 minutes of viva. Your Professor will let you know which groups will be presenting during
which session. All group members need to be present on the day your presentation and viva is
scheduled and all group members are expected to be prepared with all parts of the
presentation. Your Professor will randomly call out any group member to present any part of the
presentation and to answer any questions.

Evaluation Criteria: A detailed description of each criterion and the distribution of marks is
