What is an excerpt in research?

An excerpt in writing is a quoted passage taken from a longer work, such as a book, e-journals,
or an article. Whatever the subject of your writing or the type of writing you intend to compose,
excerpts can be used to 'show' readers what it is you want them to understand and remember
about the subject

Science communication is changing. It is increasingly directed not only at peers but at the public
in general. Accordingly, understanding the circumstances under which audience members
engage with scientific content is crucial to improving science communication (Borman et al,,
2021).

A Proposed Integrated Development Fashion Technology Complex in Clark Global City.

The Fashion Technology Complex is a multifaceted field that involves aesthetics, design,

product development, economics, global business, marketing, consumer behavior, operations,

and management, as well as anthropology, psychology, and sociology (Dickerson, 2003).

Excerpt 2:

McCracken (1986) describes fashion as a system that “serves as a means by which goods are

systematically invested and divested of meaningful properties”.

Excerpt 3:

Shahrin (2013) builds on the idea that fashion is a way of expressing oneself through carefully

selected threads that cover our skin projecting out our inner thoughts and expressing our
feelings. Hence designing a facility to promote fashion industry requires thoughtful integration of

art and technology which makes the project unique from the other commercial complex.
