Being the 2nd member to join the Freshcaller marketing team, I began
with contributing to the inbound lead generation targets for the year and
strengthened the blog traffic alongside the user education module for the
product. Starting off with a mix of TOFU and BOFU blogs we kick-started the
blog traffic and subscriber count.

In the process I learnt:

Had joined just a team of 2 marketing professionals for a CRM product,


Freshsales. I worked extensively on building the

- product update and release blogs,


- knowledge base from scratch,
- user education videos and guides.

It helped strengthen my technical writing skills and helped prevent churn and
reduced the number of support tickets on product usage queries for a period of
1 year.
This gave me great understanding of what it takes to keep customers engaged
and how to identify and write what matters to customers rather than what
merely excites us as marketers.
