This is a suggested lesson plan of reviewing concepts before moving on to Algebra 1 used at
the beginning of the year. Please shorten or lengthen it as you see fit for your students’
needs. If you don’t have 7 to 8 days, one suggestion would be to assign the Back to School
(Pre-Algebra Concepts Review) Foldable to cover the topics that you don’t have time to
cover in class. This could be assigned at the beginning of the unit and due at the end of the
unit OR could be completed in class. You could also assign it, go over it and then skip right
to the cumulative quiz. Have them glue the foldable into their notebook when finished for
yearlong reference.
