*** Most high level jobs are done by men.

Should the government

encourage a certain percentage of these jobs to be reserved for women? Write a
pasage about 150-200 words to justify your answer

All over the world, most high level positions are occupied by men. Some
individuals opine that there should be a gender-based reservation for high profile
jobs to give more opportunities to women and the government should encourage
a certain percentage of these jobs to be reserved for women. In my opinion , In
an equal opportunity market, the government should not get involved in this.
First of all,  obviously, men and women are definitely different in physical
aspects. Thus, when it comes to the job regarding physical factor, for example,
cement porter, women tend to show the less abilities than men do.
Secondly, ignoring an efficient person to fill in a new position leads to
discrimination and engenders the lack of motivation among the employees. For
example, if a person is simply promoted to the top post, leaving behind the
capable colleagues, there are high chances that the colleagues, who think the
decision is not fair, will not work efficiently to their calibre. As a result, it is the
organisation which loses the productivity. Thus, the top positions should never
be reserved based on gender or any category
Third , High-level jobs usually come with high-level responsibilities, which
most people (men and women) would not want. The candidates for these jobs
must prioritize this job over other things in their lives. If men prioritize their
hobbies like fishing which is over their job, they would not make good
candidates in general. If women prioritized their families like having and raising
their children which is over their job, they would not make good candidates in
general.
Equality of opportunity is important. Equality of outcome is unfair. Let
every candidate be judged on their own merits, and not their sex.
