It looks like they want to formulate themselves. In that case I would recommend the following
products:

Novaseal 2238: EAA with Ammonia, 38% solids, SIT 70˚C (top range product, but also at the
high end of the price range)

Novaseal 5132: EAA with KOH, 32% solids SIT 85˚C, very cost-effective.

Novaspers BHC FG: standard food contact approved Carnauba wax emulsion, non-ionic. Has
proven to work very effectively to control slip and blocking in EAA coatings.

Novaspers C1491 is an anionic Carnauba wax emulsion. It is completely vegan and approved for
food contact and is designed to offer a little hydrophobicity in paper coatings. Stability in EAA
dispersions is poor however. Better to use BHC FG instead, in case hydrophobicity is no issue.

Please find the TDS’s attached, as well as the particle size distribution of both C1491 and BHC
FG
