CONNECTING SCOOT TO THE DIGITAL

WORLD

Downloading the App


Go to the App Store. Download app titled; Scoot Connect. Within this app you will be prompted

to fill in personal information including log-in email and password.

From there, the app will automatically search and connect to scoot.

Through the App you can connect all smart devices supported by Scoot. Apple, Alexia, Google

are currently supported.

Connecting smart devices


Connecting smart devices on Scoot is easier than ever! There are two options.

1.Connect through the app under “Smart Connections”

2. Command Scoot to connect with voice command; “Scoot connect ______” Further

information in next section.

Voice Commands
Simply use voice command to allow Scoot to connect. Voice command for connecting scoot to

any smart device in the home will occur at the command of,

“Scoot connect to _________”

Google, Amazon, Apple Watch, Android Watch...

Powering On Scoot
To turn Scoot on; press the ON button.

To turn off; hold down ON button for three seconds.

• These options are also available through voice command and through the app.

To begin cleaning on your Scoot simply say,

“Scoot, Clean”

For best performance,

• Remove all potential obstacles from the cleaning areas.

• Check the battery levels

• Empty the Bin and Bin collection devices

• Use Scoot every day

Battery Life
A low battery will automatically by signaled by Scoot. Scoot will verbally say “Battery Low”

when it is necessary to recharge. Scoot will locate his power charging station. Battery level will

also be indicated through Scoot through the app. The app will give a percentage of battery life on

the home screen.

Cleaning Scoot
Occasionally, even scoot will need to be cleaned. To clean Scoot you will need to only use damp

cloth on outer portions of scoots main body. Scoots may need to have vacuum rollers removed

for cleaning of dirt or hair. To remove these areas simply push the release button and after

cleaning then replace back into the roller section. To clean mop portion simply on hook and rinse

mop pad. This pad can be placed back either wet or dry.

Power Base/ Cleaning Station


Power base will need to be plugged into the wall. The power base will charge Scoot on regular

basis as needed. The base also acts as a cleaning station for Scoot. The station will sanitize

moping pads and empty debris from Scoot dust bin. Dust bin can be manually emptied by

pressing dust bin release and emptying bin. Bin can be replaced by pushing back into bin section.

DO NOT SUBMERGE SCOOT IN WATER OR ALLOW

WATER TO ACCESS THE TOP OF SCOOTS BODY. THIS

WILL RESULT IN DAMAGE TO SCOOT.

Pet Monitoring
Scoot can allow you to monitor your pets with the same cameras that are used for

vacuuming and moping. Pet Monitoring can be accessed in the app under the “Pet Video”

option. Selecting this option will allow Scoot to navigate to your pet and allow you to view,

hear, and communicate through Scoot effortlessly.

Fall Detection Monitoring


Fall detection can only be enabled if you have a smart watch also connected to Scoot. (See

p.3 under connecting smart devices for more information) Fall detection will connect with

smart watches currently enabled to detect falls. Linking Scoot to these features will allow

Scoot to arrive at the fall location and connect video and audio. With Scoots camera smart

sensors if there is a person that has fallen visible on the screen and communication is not

initiated 911 will be alerted.

Safety Warnings

• Excessive buildup of hair or other debris can cause damage to

the system.

• Excessive water at the top of the device can cause damage to

cameras or sensors.

• Do not submerge Scoot in water. This will damage the product.

FAQ

• Scoot will not respond.

Power scoot on and off and check battery level.

• Scoots battery is not charging completely

Battery life can vary and if you ask scoot, “Battery performance level”

you may find that it is “LOW”. In this case please visit our website to

purchase new battery. If battery level performance is not low then

recharge overnight.

• Scoot is not cleaning every room.

Check settings from app to make sure there isn’t a setting stopping Scoot

from cleaning all areas. Scoot is smart and knows what areas have been

cleaned and need to still be cleaned.

• Scoot is notifying me of “falling alerts” but I’m not falling.

If you have not set up falling alerts through your app or watch, go to

settings and disable falling settings. If you have enabled these settings

and are receiving error than update device and reconnect watch.
