Organization Name: QUIZZARDS

It is a combination of two words - quiz and wizard. As this project is an e-sport, we

engage the knowledge of the participants into a quiz using 'Kahoot' which is a game-
based learning platform used as educational technology in schools and other
educational institutions. On the other hand, we combined quiz with wizards because
wizards are known to be skilled and they are clever people who have a broad
knowledge of different things. This project is expecting to give the participants unique
and new experiences through an online platform.

 Call for participants:
After creating a private Facebook group which will be communicated to every class
representative from FAITH JPIA, our team will post an invitation to the group to inform
the students that we will conduct a program entitled The Battle of the Brains: A Virtual
Quiz Bee. Here is the sample invitation for the possible participants.

Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform used to review students' knowledge, for formative
assessment or as a break from traditional classroom activities. We, at Quizzards, have the vision to
develop well-rounded, confident, and responsible students who aspire to achieve their full potential.
Participants are required to have two (2) devices and fill up the google form for confirmation.

We will set a deadline for registration in the game show to properly manage the number
of participants. Our proposed date is Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Mechanics of the Game:

All of the students who want to participate in the online quiz must fill-up the
google form given by the quiz coordinators. After filling up the form, the facilitator will
disseminate the link thru an email address. The platforms to be used in facilitating the
Online Quiz Bee are Google meet and Kahoot for the convenience of everyone. The
screen will display the game lobby in which the participants must enter the Game Pin to
fully participate in answering the questions.
In this game show, every question has a time limit just to make sure that no one
will be able to search the answers from the internet. The quiz masters have to spin the
virtual roulette first containing the names of all participants. The person selected has the
right to choose a category, so it will be an advantage for the lucky student to win in the
game. In each level of difficulty, there will be three categories here are the following:
Total of 15 questions for Easy level- Movies, songs, and food (standard points)
Total of 10 questions for Average level- Countries, Sports, and Current Events
(standard points)
Total of 5 questions for Hard level- History, Language and Mathematics (doubled
points)
 At the end of each question, the Leaderboard will display the top five scorers.
Once the game is over, the first student who will accumulate more points will be
considered the winner.
Only twenty freshmen students from FAITH JPIA will be allowed to join. Additionally,
there will be three reserve students in case there’s a fortuitous event happen to the
participant such as no internet connection and brownout.
