ADVERTISING MANAGEMENT ASSIGNMENT 1

Provide pictures of different advertisements outside of your home. Briefly discuss the advertisement in
relation to the things that we discussed last time. Make a short reflection, do you find it very effective or
not? Be specific.

BANNERS (OUTDOOR ADVERTISEMENT)

This is an example of banners which are an outdoor advertisement. This type of advertisement is
common to places that are far from the city or places that are not crowded. People find substitutes to
expensive and costy banners and came up with these banners that uses only leftover materials. I find
this advertisment not so effective because the paints are fading and the design is not that catchy
compared to other printed banners since they are computer generated and easy to make. But since it is
way more cheap and wise, for me it is a creative advertisement.
PHOTOGRAPHIC TARPAULINS

These are examples of photographic tarpaulins and usually seen to stores. These tarpaulins are made
with colors, images, and texts in order to advertise a product or an offer. These tarpaulins are mostly
attached to stores selling or offering the advertised product or offer. I find it effective since they are
colored and easy to see, those who are finding these will easily see if this store is offering this type of
products or to inform the consumers and by passers that they have this item. But sometimes, these
tarpaulins are been attached calqued or layered that the tarpaulin behind it won’t be seen and that is
the case if there are many tarpaulins in an area.
