WISDOM CHART
Complete the sentence given in the wisdom chart.

I learned that,
I learned that as time passed, the clothing changed. Humans have worn clothing for
thousands of years, and since its invention, clothing has evolved from its simple utilitarian
function for survival to become an integral part of society.  From animal skin and leaves, to
different kinds of cloth sewn made from different eras. I learned that most of clothing history
clothing has been handmade. Even today, while textile production is fully automated,
garments are sewn and pieced by human hands on sewing machines. Clothing and textiles
reflect the materials and technologies available in different civilizations at different times.
The variety and distribution of clothing and textiles within a society reveal  social customs
and culture.

Based on these, I realized that,

I realized that from the ancient times to the present day, methods
of textile production have continually evolved, and the choices of textiles available have
influenced how people carried their possessions,  clothed themselves, and decorated their
surroundings. The wearing of clothing is exclusively a human characteristic and is a feature of
most human societies. In the last 150 years clothing styles and the creation of clothing has
changed extremely. From only custom-made clothing being available to the wealthy to fitted
style clothing of the Renaissance period, these changes from the past have influenced
clothing style and creation in today’s society. With the rise in technology advancements and
influx availability, people are able to create and purchase clothing much easier and quicker
than those in the past.

From now on, I will,

I will choose the right and appropriate cloth based on what occasion or place I want to
go. I will buy clothes if necessary and I can use it for a long time not only because I want it but
because of the purpose of it. And since I have some background about sewing I will practice it
more so that if I will learn about sewing I can make my own and it can cause for me an
income.
