Startups innovating in the cultural

and creative industries
From music to video games, digital art to heritage, the
cultural sector has evolved along with the rampant changes
in technologies. Artists are finding new ways to make art,
new technologies are changing our perceptions and clever
entrepreneurs are creating game-changing businesses.
We are very pleased to present within these pages the 14
startups from Catalonia taking part in the Catalan Arts booth
(6C1) at 4YFN 2022.
The Government of Catalonia, through its Innovation
and Digital Culture Department and the Catalan Institute
for Cultural Companies (ICEC), under the Catalan Arts
international brand, has organised this action in order to
strengthen the international visibility of the Catalan startups
that link art and culture with the digital world. We hope you
will have the chance to meet them and have interesting
conversations. Make sure not to miss out on their company
presentations to learn more about their projects.
Representatives of our institutions will also be present at our
stand to inform and advise the professionals in attendance
on issues such internationalisation, financing and our public

the last decade is directly linked to the diversity and quality of the
specialized education programs available in the country. Going from

on technical and creative skills, to startup support and incubation
programs more focused on business knowledge, Catalonia provides
one of the best playing field for those looking to improve their
curriculum and project their career forward. In this panel organised
by the Catalan association of videogames developers and publishers,
