What is the significance of the NSTP Law in student training?

Student’s Answer:

The National Training Service Program (NSTP) covers all incoming freshmen, both male

and female. Moreover, it comprises three component programs with various durations and training

assigned explicitly for each component. In connection to this, the program aims to promote the

role of youth in nation-building.

In terms of student training, the NSTP law plays a prominent role whether from multiple

perspectives. For instance, the activities provided by each component enhance various skills and

develop abilities that are necessary for not just students but also citizens in events of calamities,

states of emergencies, or even life challenges. Also, this trains students to listen to instructions and

communicate effectively, thus enhancing their leadership abilities that are most needed and

required in any field of jobs.

It has been demonstrated that the NSTP law has contributed to various enhancing aspects

such as training and leadership through the activities and development of components; other

instances are students' emphases on the ability to listen and communicate effectively. Thus, it is

deemed significant in student training.
