Section 3: Generating individual product deeplink

In order to have a valid tracking link, you need to make changes to the “link” data in the datafeed you just downloaded. To generate a
valid tracking link that points your users directly to the product page, you will have to combine the prefix URL and the encoded URL
for specific product.

Below are the step by step instructions on how to achieve this goal.

A. Preparing the Prefix URL:

Prefix URL is the first component of the tracking link, it indicates the offer that you’re promoting as well as your
publisher account. Below is the format of the Prefix URL:

Prefix URL format

https://invol.co/aff_m?offer_id=OFFER_ID&aff_id=TRACKING-
LINK-ID&source=feed&url=

i. Replace the OFFER-ID in the Prefix URL with the below value:
Offer ID

100286

Important Note:
Do note that the above value is unique for each offer, make sure you use it only for this offer.

ii. Replace the TRACKING-LINK-ID in the tracking_url with the Tracking Link ID assigned to your publisher account.
Your Tracking Link ID can be found by navigating to “Account Setting” -> “Profile Information” section.

Example:

Assuming your Tracking Link ID is 1010, once you updated the Offer ID and your Tracking Link ID in the Prefix
URL, the result will be as below:

https://invol.co/aff_m?offer_id=100286&
 aff_id=1
 010&
 source=feed&url=
B. URL encoding the direct product URL:

The URL encoded product URL is the second component of the tracking link, it indicates the direct product URL
that you user will be visiting.

Example:

Assuming below product URL is from 3rd party domain, it was looked like below. The merchant product URL is
starts from parameter murl.

https://click.linksynergy.com/link?id=zErSluD8o3g&offerid=625895.18216&type=15&a
mp;murl=https%3A%2F%2Ffactory.anntaylor.com%2Fpetite-striped-tie-waist-wide-leg-pants%2F
509987%3FskuId%3D27692554%26defaultColor%3D2222%26prodId%3D509987

Once the 3rd party domain has been remove, the URL it will look like below:

https%3A%2F%2Ffactory.anntaylor.com%2Fpetite-striped-tie-waist-wide-leg-pants%2F509987%3
FskuId%3D27692554%26defaultColor%3D2222%26prodId%3D509987
C. Combining Prefix URL with the product URL:

In order to generate a valid tracking URL, you will have to combine the Prefix URL generated in Step A with the
product URL, the result will be as below:

Example:

https://invol.co/aff_m?offer_id=100286&
 aff_id=1 010&source=feed&url=https%3A%2F%2Ffactor
y.anntaylor.com%2Fpetite-striped-tie-waist-wide-leg-pants%2F509987%3FskuId%3D27692554%26defa
ultColor%3D2222%26prodId%3D509987
