SNACK

Crackers with philadelphia cheese & chipotle dip

 Ingredients (for 6 servings):

6 small chipotles peppers in adobo sauce.


190 grams of philadelphia cheese
1 package of crackers.
Pepper and salt to taste.
To made the dip, turn on the blender and put the chipotle peppers and the philadelphia cheese
inside. Then add some pepper and salt to taste and mix all the ingredients. Put the dip in a
beautiful dish and if you want you can decorate it adding a little of sesame on it.
Then take a cracker and put some dip and enjoy it while you’re waiting for the main dish or
you’re talking with your friends or family.

DRINK
Piña colada

 Ingredients (2 servings):

3 cups of frozen pineapple chunks (It has to be frozen)


A little of white rum
2/3 cup coconut milk or coconut cream

To make this frozen piña colada recipe, simply combine all your ingredients together in a
blender and puree until smooth! If the mixture is too thick, feel free to add in a little extra
water. Otherwise, it should be a breeze! Then, serve immediately, topped with your desired
garnishes (for example a wedge of pineapple or cherries). This is the easiest way to make
piña colada but if you want, you can add in to the mixture some sugar syrup, evaporate milk
or sweetened condensed milk.
DESSERT
Gelatin of Galletas Marías

 Ingredients:

A package of Galletas Marias (barras de coco)


A cup of cajeta.
3 envelopes of grenetina hydrated (of 7 grams each)
A can of evaporated milk
A cup of whipped cream
2 cups of whole milk.
A little of vanilla flavoring

Blend the galletas Marías, the evaporated milk, the cup of whipped creama and the cup of
cajeta until a homogeneus mixture is obtained.
By the other hand, put the 2 cups of whole cream in a pan and heat it up to boil (its bubble
point). Immediately, add carefully the mixture obtained previously meanwhile you’re mixing
it with the milk and add a little of vanilla flavoring. You should continue heating the mixture
but simmer. Meanwhile, continue mixing it and add the hydrated grenetina. The gelatin is
ready until the grenetina melts.
Next, add the mixture in a container (a jelly mold) previously lighly greased. Wait until it’s
at room temperature and then refrigerate until set.
Finally, unmold and decorate it like you want!

MAIN DISH
Pork leg in coca cola sauce

 Ingredients:
2 kilos and a half of pork leg.
6 garlic crushed
A cup of lemon juice.
A spoonful of salt (or salt to taste)
A cup of vinegar
A liter of coca cola.
100g of raw peeled almonds

First, you have to “mechar” the pork leg with almonds. It means, that you have to stick some
stuff inside the leg so, you’re going to make some cuts all around your pork’s leg, this cuts
have to be a little deep but not too much. This step, helps you to get a marinate inside to have
its flavor on the meat as well as to fill it up with the almonds (and if you want you can add
bacon).
Then, spread the garlic crushed over all the meat and add salt to taste. Later, pour the lemon
juice and the cup of vinegar over the meat and let it sit overnight in the fridge.

The next morning, hydrate the meat with the sauce that is on the tray and remove a little just
to have more space to add 2 cups of coca cola.
Cover the food with aluminion foil and bake it for 2.5 hours.
You should check the meat every half hour and if it’s necessary add some coca-cola to avoid
the meat get dry.
The last 30 minutes, you must remove the aluminion foil and let the meat bake without it for
get a better presentation.

Finally, serve the food to your guests and enjoy it.
