Notification to all prospective students of the Real Estate Training Institute (RETI)

TAKE NOTICE THAT:

1. If an Applicant has been previously convicted of an offence involving fraud or dishonesty or is an

undischarged bankrupt as stated and outlined in Sections 14, 15 and 21 (1)-(2) of the Real Estate (Dealers
and Developers) Act (REDDA); and/or

2. If the Board is not satisfied that the Applicant is not a fit and proper person to be registered as a Dealer or
Salesman under Section 15 of REDDA;

such applicant will not be granted a Licence by the Real Estate Board to practice Real Estate Business under the
Act (REDDA).

Students are reminded that any person who practices Real Estate Business without a Licence is liable to a fine or
imprisonment or both under Section 44 of REDDA.
