Specifically an APNP for your pediatric cardiac patients, Alyssa Pollow. I would expect all of your providers would be taking covid-19 seriously, especially one who treats compromised children everyday. But it has come to my attention that one of your providers has been actively campaigning against covid 19 mitigation in our school district for the past year. She & Her husband have grown a group in the community who come to every board meeting to thwart masking & any attempt to keep our kids safe from covid-19. They’re a very right wing political group & unfortunately many of our board members have been swayed by them, They got them to make masks optional despite the fact that my masked kids aren’t protected from their unmasked kids. Numbers are rising like crazy in our schools & yet again they 1‘came out Monday to make sure masks weren't put back in place. How can you trust her to make good decisions about your compromised patients when she is making dangerous decisions in the community & rallying support around her? This is scary & sad. I would hope you would vet such employees better.
