The Five Stars Country

Throughout this essay I’m going to talk about the small belt
tightening center America between the Caribbean and Pacific oceans, with
Guatemala to the North, Nicaragua to the South and El Salvador to the
West. Despite its warm climate more than a half of her territory is
mountainous, with mountain ranges accompany the northern bord with
Guatemala. They have a variety of ethnic groups wich each of them has
different cultures and characteristics. Is one of the most vulnerable
countries in Latin America battered by storms and hurricanes, more than
the 80% of the population survives with less than two dollars up to the date.

A country with culture of the outer space. Honduras is a country

rich in culture their different traditions is what make them a peerless town,
if we want to talk about culture first, we must know what is, culture means:
the ideas, customs, and social behavior of a particular people or society. That is what
Mr. Google can tell us but in other terms are like: the traditions of a
country or town. Throughout all the year Honduras celebrates different
events like; the Isidra Fair in La Ceiba, an event that lasts one week and
culminates with the “Gran Carnaval Ceibeño”, or “Carnaval de la
Amistad”; the ‘Juniana Fair’ of San Pedro Sula that is distinguished by its
musical concerts.; Honduras celebrates the August Fair in Puerto Cortés,
which resembles the experience that is lived in Venice with parades of
Gondolas and boats along the Buenos Aires bay and from where they are
launched, the fireworks that can be observed from any point of Puerto
Cortés and finally we could have a important date, September 15, Honduras
independence day, this day is the most important in my perspective because
is the day that Honduras finally could have liberty and can demonstrate that
her people is more than slaves, poor and weak people often they are free
sovereign and independent. These were some of the traditional fairs in
Honduras.

¨¿National emblems of Honduras? Mmm... next question ¨. When

people ask about the national emblems of some countries the majority don’t
know which are, so is necessary to do a little review, because as Hondurans
is our responsibility to know it. Sometimes people already learned it, but
they don’t remember it, in this paragraph we are going to go throughout
these extent theme reviewing some of the Hondurans national emblems.
First, we can talk about one that maybe could be considered as the more
important because when someone around the world investigate or hear
about countries their flag is what represents it, and in Honduras isn’t the
exception, it consists of two blue stripes and a white one in the middle,
placed horizontally, and in addition, a group of five blue stars, five salient
angles in the center of the white field these represents the two oceans that
surround Honduras and the five stars represent the five countries of center
America; in second place we can talk about the national shield which in a
series of images that could represent different important characteristics of
Honduras; in third place we have the national anthem, every country have a
fight song that tell us the different proves, diseases and victories of that
country, it consists of a chorus and seven stanzas and must be sung in four-
quazer time. These were the emblems call Greater Emblems.

“-Do you know about Honduran literature?”,”-huh? What is

Honduras?”. – face palm internally-.
When we talk about literature of Honduras, we don’t know much
about it, maybe we know some writers, but we don’t know their story; their
arguments behind sometimes we even don’t know anything about it, but
that have a solution trough this paragraph I’m going to expose a little bit
about the different characteristics and authors of Honduran literature.
Among its main characteristics are the constant presence of preindustrial
themes such as nature and Greco-Latin and medieval myths, sometimes
Honduran literature tends to be about the Neoclassicism, the Romanticism,
the modernism, the realism, ant the Vanguard. Some of the most famous
authors are: Froylan Turcios; Ramon Amaya Amador; Roberto Sosa; Juan
Ramon Molina; Lucia Gamero among others. As we can read in this short
paragraph, I was talking about Honduran literature that in my perspective is
one of the most interesting her novels are just exceptional.

Honduras is country with a variety of qualities that we can

appreciate. Some Hondurans shame about her country because of her
limited possibilities in study or maybe because is a Latin America country,
but Honduras is a beautiful country that all get better our actions can made
of Honduras a better place.
