Course Title: LITERARY CRITICISM

Course Code: EM4

Course Description:

The study and use of different literary theories to write critiques on selections from various literary genres.

Course Objectives:

1. To become actively engaged in contemporary debates regarding literature, criticism and theory
2.  To become exposed to diverse and complex ways of reading and thinking about literature
3.  To practice thinking and writing about literature from diverse critical perspectives, including fields and disciplines outside of English,
4. Getting to know the different authors and their works in their in the different genre.
