Ask the students to discuss their approach when
solving a problem

Have them relate the concept of holistic thinking to

Let the students differentiate between holistic and partial

Ask the students to relate their ideas regarding what
it means to engage in reflection.
Ask them why is reflection important?
B. ANALYSIS
Have you ever engaged yourself in reflection?
How does reflection help you in a day of your life?
C. ABSTRACTION
Teacher discuss the topic.
Give examples/situation where in reflection is present.
D. APPLICATION
Have them do THINK. Let the students share their work in
class. Students form groups and do a role-play.

Engage in reflection on the following situations by doing a role play:
1. You go in a restaurant and the waiter hands you a menu. You are deciding which dish to order.
2. You and your friends are deciding on a “fun” thing to do while at a mall.
3. You open your wallet and saw that you still have hundred pesos left from your weekly
allowance.
