HON. HUMERLITO DOLOR

Governor
Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro

Dear Gov. Dolor,

Greetings!

Following the EU and KAS co-funded “Developing Countrywide a Culture of Integrity through
Multi-sectoral Local Government Integrity Circles” Project, also known as LoGIC Project, the
Consortium, which is led by KAS, has strategically partnered with the Provincial Government
of Oriental Mindoro to support and advance the institutionalization of the integrity building
mechanisms in the province and the expansion of the LoGIC Network. The LoGIC Network is
a network of Local Government Integrity Circles advancing integrity and good local
governance. LoGIC Project and Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro have already been
in partnership through the engagement with the Local Economic Development and
Investment Promotion Center (LEDIP).

As part of our partnership and to support one of the project’s expected outcome which is
“Improved integrity in the LGUs involved has strengthened the confidence of investors and
led to increase number of jobs”, we plan to organize a one-day Oriental Mindoro Virtual
Business Mission on August 27, 2020 from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm (GMT +8) via Zoom. The
virtual business mission aims to present the investment climate and doing business in Oriental
Mindoro Province; identify investment opportunities; and set a virtual venue where
businesses can network and create potential business partnerships.

In this regard, we would also like to invite you to do the welcome remarks during the
opening session. The virtual business mission will be attended by invited business
representatives, local investors, and key representatives from the Provincial Government of
Oriental Mindoro Investments Office. For your reference, attached is the provisional program.
We would also need the help of your office in the preparation and submission of the following
documents:
• Latest Investment Profile
• Specific Investment Priority Areas and Business Opportunities
• Target Industry Groups

We have attached the relevant templates for the preparation of the above-mentioned
documents. We hope you can endorse this formal invitation if you can endorse this formal
invitation to all the mayors of LGUs under LoGIC who can actively participate.

This project is co-funded Implemented by the consortium Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), Centrist Democratic Political
by the European Union (EU) Institute (CDPI), League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP), League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) and League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP).
