TIME TO FILE BRIEF

Appellee People of the Philippines, through the


Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), to this Honorable
Court, respectfully states:

1. The period within which to file the required Brief will


expire on January 15, 2022.

2. Due, however, to the current heavy workload of the


undersigned handling Associate Solicitor and the need to se-
cure the complete record of the case, the required Appellee’s
Brief may not be filed on or before its due date, for which he
begs the kind indulgence of this Honorable Court.

PRAYER
 
WHEREFORE, it is respectfully prayed that appellee be
granted an extension of ninety (90) days from January 15,
2022, or until April 15, 2022, within which to file the said
Brief.
