I. Title of Activity: SCHOOL BASED FEEDING PROGRAM for School Year

2019-2020

II. Inclusive Date/Time: July-December 2019

III. Venue: Oogong Elementary School

IV. Participants: Principal, SBFP Coordinator, class advisers, GPT, severely wasted
and wasted pupils, parents and volunteers

V. Brief Description/Objective:

 School Based Feeding Program (SBFP) is designed to help the

undernourished children prioritizing the severely wasted and wasted. The
program aims to improve the nutritional status of the beneficiaries by at least
70% at the end of 120 feeding days; increase classroom attendance by 85%
to 100 % improve learner’s academic performance indicator.

VI. Highlights of the activity:

 Washing and cleaning of food items.
 Proper selection of food and ensuring they are fresh and of good quality.
 Availability of potable water and hand washing facilities.
 Preparing and cooking on food on the day it will served
 Provision of food covers and containers.
 Hygienic practices in food preparation and cooking.
 Observing the expiry dates of food commodities.

VII. Plans and Recommendations:

 School Based Feeding Program continually implemented every school

year funding from the government
 Used the SBFP as the springboard of improving the nutritional status
and academic status of all feeding recipients.
 Encourage the parents to serve the nutritious meal at home.

Pinangunahan ni Gng. Anita R. Alegado ang pagpupulong tungkol sa taunang
implementasyon ng School Based Feeding Program. Binigyang pansin niya ang kahalagahan ng
programa upang mabigyan ng sapat at masustansyang pagkain ang mga mag aaral na kulang sa
nutrisyon o malnourished na napabilang sa severely wasted at wasted sa nakaraang pagkuha ng
timbang ng mga guro . Ipinaliwanag din ng punungguroang malaking papel at gampanin ng
magulang at iba pang stakeholders sa implementasyon ng programa.
Tinalakay din ni Gng. Nancy M. Tolentino gurong tagapag-ugnay ang mga pagsasanay
ng wastong paghahanda at pagluluto ng masustansyang pagkain na ihahanda araw-araw. Inilahad
din ang bilang ng mag-aaral na mga kasali sa feeding program.
