1.0 OBJECTIVES : CCTV Network Survey

5.0 ACTIVITY:
 Operations Representative shall attend the meeting with the client along with a Sales
representative to understand the client’s requirements specifications for the CCTV network.

 Understand the client’s requirement by enquiring about various aspects of the CCTV network.
(What brand the client wants as the vendor for the CCTV network? Where is the DVR room
located? IP/Analog Camera? How many cameras are required? ).

 Floor plan/building drawing should be obtained from the client. All the locations of the CCTV
cameras, cable length shall be indicated in the diagram.

 An estimate of the tentative length of cable (video cable/cat6), number of cameras shall be
made and all additional requirements (Rack, DVR/NVR, etc.) shall be added and a BOQ (Bill of
Quantity) should be prepared by the project executive.

 The BOQ will be then forwarded to the Operations manager for review and he will then in turn
forward it to the Sales Representative.
