a. Company History
Safeway Technologies was incorporated in 2014. The Company has catered to the needs of
various medical device industries. The company offers total solution to medical device
manufacturing companies for job work of cardiac and peripheral stents. And also for balloon
manufacturing.

In this rapid moving world, wherein technology of today becomes obsolete tomorrow, the
company has carved out a specific position for its products with in-house strong multi –
disciplinary R & D team consisting of Research scholars, chemist, Doctors, Software
engineers, Electronic – Mechanical – Instrumentation engineers, Laser specialists etc. The
company strives for excellence through innovations to give best quality product to medical
industries.

The company will provide solutions to medical industries in India and abroad. Product
manufacture by Safeway Technologies are cost effective, production specific, quality
conscious and with increased efficiency.

Currently Safeway Technologies is providing complete solution to medical device
manufacturers for manufacturing of stents and balloons.

a. Products
Currently Safeway Technologies has not any end product for customer but in future it will
provide best quality products to customer on OEM basis.

b. Services
We are providing job work services to medical device manufacturer for their stent cutting job
work, those are as below
(i) Laser Micromachining
(ii) De-scaling / passivation
(iii) Heat Treatment ( Annealing )
(iv) Electropolishing

c. Business competitiveness
Currently there is no business competition in India for Safeway Technologies as this is the first
company in India with this type of work

Company will get ISO certification for its manufacturing setup very soon

b. CEO
Name of CEO is Mr. Yavar Pothiawala.

Yavar Pothiawala (B.E. Electronics, MIE, chartered engineer (India) has overall 27 years’
experience and 15 years’ experience specially in Medical device manufacturing and laser
industries, prior to join this company he was running his own company namely Saher
Technologies which was engaged in manufacturing of machines related to medical device
manufacturing, including laser based stent cutting machine, stent coating machine, hydrophilic
coating machine etc.

c. Office and administrative personnel

Currently company has 10 people staff including manufacturing and administration.
