#include' 22 Central Hackathon

Event Description:
It is a 3-round Hackathon with the first round involving allocation of Problem Statement to student teams
corresponding to which abstracts should be submitted. Evaluating the ingenuity and merit of the abstracts,
teams are filtered to enter the next round. In the second round, 3 reviews are periodically conducted to ensure
the selected teams are implementing the components specified in their abstracts. The final round of the
Hackathon includes verifying the output, format and compliance with all the features mentioned in abstract,
following which the prize winners are pronounced.

Event Guidelines:

• Formation of student teams can be done by the participants prior to the Hackathon or at the start of the
event. If any student is not a part of a team already, teams can be formed by Event Coordinators on spot.
• As it is an overnight Hackathon, necessary amenities would be made available to ease the process for
students for them to stay focused on their activity.
• At any point of time, at least 1 member from the team must be present in the allocated workspace and
during reviews, the entire team must be available.
• Student Teams are mapped to Technology Clubs according to their Problem Statements.

Event Description:
A group of students will be given a domain and wile asked to divide into 2 sets. 1st set will be asked to
collect insights and concentrate on complete design thinking works of the in the project.
Whereas 2nd set will be asked to collect the inputs from 1st batch and concentrate on completing technical
part of the project.
Event Guidelines:
1) This event will take place in 2 rounds
2) Participants are required to form teams of 4 before starting the competition
3) The teams are divided into 2 sets, first set of participants work on collecting the insights, study these
requirements, do research and build user stories, then freeze the user stories within specified time.
4) Continuous Evaluation will be conducted for each team in reviews in specific time intervals.
5) The second set of participants co-ordinate with the first set of participants for inputs and engage in
building the prototype for the additional requirements suggested in the continuous evaluation process.
6) The participants are required to focus on the use cases they have incorporated and the prototype built.

BRISKLY CODER
Event Description:
1. There will be two Rounds.
2. In Round 1,20 questions will be asked with a time constraint of 25 Minutes.
3. Round 2 is a computer Round with a time constraint of 20 Minutes.
4. Judge’s decision will be Final.

1) Participants are required to participate individually for this event.
2) The participants are required to carry their own laptop for the competition.
3) For round 1, the participants will be asked a set of questions for which they have to answer within the
restricted time.

MIND CHECK
Event Description: Closing chess game will be displayed to the participants and will be given 2 moves,
within which they must finish the game.
Event Guidelines:
1) Participants are required to participate individually for this event.
2) All the participants are given a chess endgame and 2 moves.
3) All the participants are provided with a specified time within which they must finish the game.
4) The one who succeeds in finishing the game within the restricted time wins the game.

Event Description:
1. A program will be divided into sub parts and the parts are displayed as blocks which are not in order.
2. The participants should flip each block and rearrange them such that program will be in order.

Event Description:
The main agenda is to make a website responsive by using the JavaScript. JavaScript has become integral to
the Internet experience as developers build increased interaction and complexity into their applications. At
the end of event, website should change the UI according to size of the screen to provide best experience to
the end users.

3)All teams will work on single web application, and they need to recreate it in as a mobile based
application.

IDEATE
Event Description: The participants will be given a real-world problem & they have to provide a solution in
programming language. The logic of the program should be correct or at least partially correct & the
program should be executed as well as acceptable. This is generally done individually.
The event also includes Code Test (checking error in codes) in which the participants will be provided with
some programs containing errors. The participants must detect those errors, fix them, & execute the
programs. This is generally done individually.
Like debugging a machine learning Model, debugging in website building code

Event Guidelines:
1) This event will take place in 2 rounds.
2) Participants are required to form into teams of 3 before starting the competition
3)A test case would be given, and a proper code must be written for it
4)All the requirements specified in the description are to be satisfied.

CODE ON PAPER
Event Description: A problem is given to the participant where he/she must write the solution code for that
problem on a piece of paper. There will be no chance for the execution until the time ends. After completion
of writing the code we will collect those papers and will be executed by us. The winner will be the one who
gets the minimum errors of his/her code or who executes the program successfully will win.

Event Guidelines:
1) This event will take place in 3 rounds.
2)A problem is given to the participant where they must write the solution code for that problem on a piece
of paper within specified amount of time.
3)After the time is up, the papers from all the participants are to be collected and executed by the organisers
of the event.
4) The one who gets the minimum errors in his/her code or whose program executes successfully shall
proceed to the next rounds

Event Description: Participants are given a simple program such as sum of two numbers. Participants must
solve the given problem blindfolded.

specified amount of time.
3)Participants must solve the given problem blindfolded.

Event Description: Students must create a small project within given specified time on the spot. Objective
type questions based on basic web designing include HTML, CSS, general awareness questions about web
and internet. The event also includes projects based on their area of interest like Web development 2ML/DS
projects like (Kaggle Titanic Prediction, House Price Prediction, Heart Disease Prediction., MNIST Digit
Classification).

3) All the participants are required to develop a website with concepts like Artificial Intelligence and
Machine learning within the specified time.

Event Description: Two participants will be competing against each other simultaneously in this game.
Both the participants are required to ask questions to each other. The questions are asked by the first
participant to other and the second one need to solve that and vice versa. The participant who scores more
points wins the competition.

NINJA COMPILER
Event Description:
This can be individual participation, or they can participate in pairs. Participants are asked to design an
online compiler where it should be able to compile the programs in different languages like c, c++, java,
JavaScript, Python, etc. The tasks given to the designers should include a database of previously compiled
programs, good web designing, a select language box that contains all the computer languages, there should
also be a default program when we select a particular language.

Event Guidelines:
1) This event will take place in 2 rounds.
2) 2)Participants can participate individually or form a team of 2.
3) 3)Participants are asked to design an online compiler which satisfies the set of requirements.
4) 4)Compiler that was developed should be able to compile the code of all languages given.

Event Description: (Use cases will be related to web sites of the companies/implementing a new feature
/updating a feature which is already present in their website) Use cases collected from start-up companies
will be given to the participants and the team that solves the use case will be awarded by the company.

1) Use cases collected from start-up companies will be presented to the participants competing in the
contest.
2) A team of 2 will be formed, each team can choose a use case from the set of use cases presented.
3) Each team competing is required to develop an efficient solution for the chosen use case within specified
time.
4) The team which wins will be awarded by the company.

SNAKE AND LADDER
Event Description: Before the game starts, participants will be forming teams of 4. 6-7 teams will be
playing the game.
This game board comprises 100 medium-level questions in which 20 hard questions are excess.
Each team chooses a counter piece to represent their team. Taking turns to roll the dice, the participants will
move their pieces forward the number of spaces shown on the dice from left to right. The participants are
required to solve the questions their team’s piece is standing on to proceed with the game. If their counter
lands on the head of a snake, the team is required to solve one hard question to move forward in the game.
The team solving most of the questions and reaching the top of the board first wins.

1) This event will take place in 3 rounds
2) Participants are required to form teams of 4 before starting the game.
3) Each team must choose a counter piece which represents their team.
4) Each team takes turns to roll dice and is required to solve the questions they land on to move forward in
the game.
5) The team is required to solve a hard question when they land on head of snake to proceed further.
6) Team who reach the top first proceeds to the next rounds.

solve individually without any communication with the other participant. Finally, the team where both the
coders have almost similar syntax, or the logic shall win.

logic written by the participants will be evaluated.

Event Description: This event is to evaluate the prompt coding capabilities of the participants.
Participants will be given with bunch of problems and are asked to solve the required number of problems
within the given time (which is very less).
Event Guidelines:
1) This event will take place in 3 rounds, topics will be explained before the beginning of the contest.
2) In all the rounds, the participants will be given specific time to write the logic and execute the program.
3) The one who debugs the code in the shortest amount of time wins.
4) Participants who clear the first round shall proceed to the next rounds.

Theme Based LOGO Design
Event Description:
Participants will be provided with a description from a company that consists of a set of requirements such
as a theme on which the participants have to work on.
All the participants will be given a specified time limit in which they have to design a logo satisfying the
requirements provided in the description. After the time is up, the logo designs from all the participants will
be evaluated and a winner will be declared.
Event Guidelines:
1) Participants are required to participate individually for this event.
2)A description comprising a set of requirements will be displayed at the start of the event.
3) The participants are required to understand the specification necessary accordingly and design a logo on
basis of the details provided.
4)All the participants are required to finish their design within the restricted time.

Event Description: Participants are going to play snake and ladders game in that depending on dice roll and
the position the participant got on the board say 1, 3,10 etc., the questions are decided. The team which
reaches the top 1st wins the game.

given an AR application built through Vuforia and are asked to find treasure that is hidden in the room.
