The Ghost of Windy Hill

Apparently this is a book about a scary story but it isn´t like that, more
than everything is a suspense and mystery story. Its main characters are: -
Professor Carver (he is the main one, he is known as a man that doesn´t fear
anything, not even ghosts, some people said that he supposedly can drive out
ghosts from houses), - Professor Carver´s son (Lorna), daughter (Jamie) and
his wife, - Mr. Giddings and his wife.

The ghost of Windy Hill is set in a town called Winton in Boston in 1851.
The main idea is that Windy Hill is a haunted house but that´s what Mrs.
Giddings made everyone believe.

When Mr. Giddings was a boy lived near a farm called Windy Hill, the
dream of his life was to be owner of that farm, but he was poor, however life
was good with him and he could brought the farm but his wife was terrified of
live there because she thought that were a ghost there and she couldn´t live
there because was afraid, so Mr. Giddings looked for Professor Carver to help
him remove the ghost from the house but Professor Carver don´t want to help
him because he don´t believe in the ghost. The next day Mr. Giddings come
back to Professor Carver house and asked help again, so Professor Carver and
his family accepted but only to prove that there wasn´t a ghost in the house.
The children were very happy because they would to spend their summer
holidays in the country, after a while in the house they knew a boy that scared
them at the first but later they became friends, they also knew the neighbors
and had a lot of amazing adventures, but they never felt any ghost in the house,
so Mrs. and Mr. Giddings would return to the house because there wasn´t a
ghost but Mrs. Giddings didn’t accepted.....
