Objective/s: Measure and describe your pulse (heart rate) after several activities.

I. Materials:
A. Stopwatch or Timer

II. Procedures:
A. Seat properly for 10 minutes. When ready to count your heart rate, locate your pulse either on the
side of your wrist or neck using your first two fingers. Count for 60 seconds and record it on the given
table below in the space for START.
B. Stand up in place for 1 minute. Count again your pulse for 30 seconds. Multiply your counted pulse
to 2. Record it on the given table below.
C. Run for 1 minute. Count again your pulse for 15 seconds. Multiply your counted pulse to 4. Record it
on the given table below.
D. Rest for 5 minutes. Get your pulse for 15 seconds and multiply it to 4. Record your answer to the
given table below.
E. Jumping jack for 1 minute. Get your pulse for 15 seconds and multiply it to 4. Record the data to the
given table below.
F. Repeat step D.
G. Answer the following guide questions below.
