Indeed, the wizards were upset at first and tried to raise their
voices, but they were able to keep their composure.

It’s amazing every time she sees it.
Ran stood close to the window and contemplated. Significant

amount of snow was falling.
About a meter of snow had piled up.
‘I’ll have to make a snowplow later to clear the snow.

Something that will heat up and melt the snow.’
There are endless ways to convert Magic Stones into energy, so

there are many ways to utilise them.
Ran thought and moved away from the window.
It had been 7 months, or roughly half a year, since she had taken
over as the temporary housekeeper. She was still having trouble with
a lot of the stuff she had been working on since the beginning, but
the measures to lay the groundwork were coming to an end.
Ran rushed to the bed and tucked herself under the blanket.
The electric pad – the magic pad they created – made the bed
warm.
‘I’m so happy.’
This magical tool created by Frances was excellent. The air in the
blanket was heated up and the feathers were inflated to enjoy a fluffy
and warm feeling.
After giving it some thought, she named it ‘Dasa’. It was derived

from the word “multifaceted.” But they can’t call it a magic pad,

Ran was always tense on the way to the door because she knew
what was behind it.
The group crossed the mountain ranges with Ran as their guide.

The slope is steep and the road is rough. Of course, the horse was
walking without paying attention to the person on it’s back, and Ran,
a burden sitting on top, was desperately trying to balance.
In the middle of Ran’s crisis, Blaine would often flinch , unsure

whether or not to assist her. There wasn’t even any appropriate
atmosphere to say anything to Ran, who was clutching her teeth.
The other knights were oddly silent. But every now and then, they
can hear a faint “Ah!” sound.
Ran was absolutely drained when they finally arrived at the door
after a thirty-minute journey. It had become extremely hot. Ran could
hardly get off the horse with Blaine’s assistance because she was
drenched in sweat.
Even though her legs wriggled a bit, Ran was able to walk

normally. Blaine stared at her with concerned eyes, and it occurred
to him that all of the knights were staring at Ran with the same eyes.
Rather than being pitiful or mocking her inability to ride a horse,

Ran had a personality that made them feel compelled to help.

mountain, but he figured that the current Ran wasn’t half bad either.
Yustaf approached at that point and extended his arm, drawing

Ran’s attention. He spoke low.
“Your knees are shaking, sister.”
Ran grabbed his arm and said,
“I’m fine. Brother.”
Yustaf raised his brows slightly and started to walk. Ran took his
arm in hers and walked slowly, expecting some muscle pains the
next day.
Since it was no longer possible to enter on horses, everyone

clothed the horses warmly so they wouldn’t get cold while waiting.
Together, Ran, Yustaf, and a few knights passed through a rounded
silver-like arch, down a white cobblestone path, into a cave with a
round entrance.
The cave was rectangular and straight, with a white door at the
end of the road.
In the middle of the door, six diamond shapes were gathered like
petals. This is also the crest of the Lachian family.
There were no other gap or patterns on the white door, only the
crest engraved on it.
When Ran reached out her hand, Yustaf took off his necklace and

handed it to her. Ran took a deep breath and put the blue ring on her
finger.
‘Ah.’
It is still. The blue flame did not appear as it had before.. Ran
raised her ringed hand over the crest.
The crest began to glow blue and a radially glowing pattern was
engraved all over the door. Ran frowned. It was not a windy place,
but the wind blew her cape and hair.
And gradually the wind subsided, the glowing pattern faded, and
the blue light from the crest completely disappeared. Ran slowly
removed her hands from the door, removed the ring from her finger,
and returned it to Yustaf.
Yustaf wore the ring as a pendant around his neck.
This simple procedure was performed on an annual basis. And Ran

and the rest of the group quickly exited from the cave. When the
knights saw them come out,they removed the clothes they had put
on top of the horses.
‘I’m in trouble.’
She did everything she could to get to the top, but now she’s
thinking about going down for thirty minutes, and she’s ready to give
up.
“Sister.”
“Huh?”
Yustaf held out his hand as she turned around to look at him.
“You can ride with me.”

When Ran was ready, Yustaf started to help nudge the horse
forward. Since the horse didn’t have a stirrup, the only place to lean
