Assigned in PICU provided care for patients before and after cardiac surgery with
congenital cardiac and vascular defects, neurosurgery, burns, unstable patients with respiratory
distress (ARDS,BPD,PHTN), postoperative major surgery patients who suffered from
diaphragmatic hernia, gastroschisis ,Kasai surgery etc., and immunocompromised patients from
oncology and SCID.

Accompanied doctors during patients rounds and alerted them of any changes in patients status,

lines. Performed blood transfusion and TPN change. Administered medications via different
routs including oral, intravenous, subcutaneous, intraosseous and continuous drips. Assisted
doctors during intubations, insertion of central lines and lumbar punctures. Performed CPR.
Weaned patients from ventilating machine, according to blood gases and clinical condition.
Performed nasogastric tube and Foley catheter insertion, wound assessment ,care and dressing.
Admitted and discharged patients.
Handled medical equipment including ventilating machine, cardiac monitor,
defibrillator, portable ECG machine, infusion pump, syringe pump, feeding pump,
incubator etc.
