Statement of Purpose for Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship:

Myself (P.Sudheer Kumar),Working with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural

Education(Formerly known as National Council of Rural Institutes),under Ministry of
Education,Government of India as Project Officer.

Passionate about contributing to district economic development by enhancing the skills of the rual
youth .Excited to work with different Professionals from Eminent professors from IIM to learn and
Implement the schemes connecting the District Administration and Institutions at the District Level.

Having worked as Project Engineer for Mega Agri Food Park Planning Project,Interaction with Farmer
Producer Organizations made initial professional connect to understand dire need of skill
development in generating Value added Agri/Aqua/Horti Produce at field level is an ideal world to
imagine but achievable thorugh involving the Collaborative approach from fast growing Technology
and Keen presence of Skilled Youth for greater change to bring huge changes in employment rate.

Working with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education(formerly National Council of
Rural Institutes),Which Promotes Rural Development through Higher Educational Institutions from
different outcome oriented Workshops,Faculty Development Programmes and Action Research
Projects.

In Promotion of Rural Entrepreneurship through Workshops where the Interaction with various
stakeholders made me understand the dire need of Skill development for the Rural Mankind .

As a part of project called Swachhta Action Plan, Interaction with Villagers through 20 Village visits
along with Higher Educational Institutions made me understand the Rural Challenges and Facts at
the field level. The challenges can be converted into Opportunities as the skill enhances in the
present generation.

Involved in Promoting BBA in Rural Management Programme in the states of Rajasthan and North
Eastern Part of the country (Assam and Tripiura)

Promoted as Project Officer-Unnat Bharat Abhiyan which is a flagship programme for Educational
Institutions to adopt five villages and give possible technical solutions for different challenges being
faced by the village communities .MGNCRE,a Regional Coordinating Institute for Telangana
constitutes ten districts involved in connecting the district administration with Higher Educational
Institutions in resolving the issues faced in their respective adopted Villages.
