Superfoods today is “hip and trendy". Some superiors are cheap seeds, going berries and quinoa.

In
Germany, there are many restaurants serving superfoods. Consumers likes it because its healthy and
looks good. Florian Klar of Bochum opened the first superfood bistro in Rohr region approximately a
year ago. Consumers says that it is tasty and have an exotic touch. However, it is easier to attract others
with stuff that is bad for their health rather than good. Klar buys food using the local suppliers when he
can but also used exotic superfoods in his meal. Though quinoa, goji berries and chia seeds can be found
in supermarkets, it may not be that best choice. A of recently, the soil used to produce quinoa seeds
have become barren in a lot of places. The quinoa farmers learned this skill from their parents and this is
a tradition for years. Additionally, the price of quinoa fluctuates from time to time as in 2014, the price
was very high and then it declined again. In the supermarkets, the superfoods may not be as healthy
since there may be preservatives and other added stuff. Superfoods suggests a positive effect on
consumers health but it may not be so. Superfoods have to be tested as there is a wide variety of times
that there are pesticides inside of them. However this is being dealt with. The demand in quinoa helps
the quinoa farmers. A solution for consumers is to eat local fruits and vegetables. Though some people
are skeptical about superfoods, they are some that are listening.
