2) Safety Management.
A fixed fire detection and alarm system has to be provided in Engine Room, Cargo
Pump Room and Accommodation area. If installation not yet available, should be
provided not later than vessel next dry dock.
4) Pollution prevention.
a) A cargo pump room bilge high-level alarm, with at least two (2) sensors
(dual safety), located at port and starboard side preferably, is to be fitted
and fully operational. If installation not yet available should be provided
not later than vessel next dry dock.
b) Storage and service bunker (fuel oil and gas oil) tanks must have
independent high-level alarm.
VETTING
b) All cargo and slop tanks must be fitted with high level alarm and
independent (from main fixed ullage monitoring system) high-high level
alarm (98%).
