correctness/authenticity.
d) After bidding, uploaded documents in original
are to be submitted by the bidder to the
Superintending Engineer, Irrigation Circle ,
Nellore. Failure to furnish originals of any of the
uploaded documents, before the Price bid
opening will entail rejection of the bid and
forfeiture of the EMD Similarly, if any of the
documents furnished by the bidder is found to be
false / fabricated / Bogus, the bidder will be
blacklisted and the EMD will be forfeited.

Officer inviting Bids: Superintending Engineer,

1) Bids are invited on the e-procurement

platform for the above mentioned work from the
Contractor’s pre qualified and empanelled vide
(1) G.O. Rt. No.727, I & C.A.D. (PPMU) Dept.,
dt.24-9-2004 and (2) G.O. Rt. No.958, I &
C.A.D. (PPMU) Dept., dt.28-12-2004.
2. EMD Rs. 1.00 Crore to be paid in shape of
Un-conditional and Irrevocable Bank Guarantee
in the standard format in favour of
Superintending Engineer, Irrigation Circle ,
Nellore to be valid for a period of Six Months
from the date of Bid of Notice or in the shape of
Demand Draft in favour of Asst. Pay & Accounts
Officer, Somasila Project , Nellore to be valid
for a period of Six Months from the date of bid
notice to be obtained from any Government
owned Public Sector Bank or any Scheduled
Commercial Bank, scanned copy DD / BG
towards EMD may be uploaded with the bids
and original must be submitted to the
Superintending Engineer through registered
Post / Courier / personally before 5.00 PM on 22-
7-2006 or on 24-7-2006 in between 9.00 AM to

procurement corpus fund of Rs.25,000/-
administered by APTS has to be paid by the
successful bidder in the shape of Demand Draft
in favour of Managing Director, A.P.
Technological Services at the time of concluding
the Agreement.

12) Note:
a) Any other condition regarding receipt of
tenders in conventional method appearing in the
tender documents may please be treated as not
applicable.

b) The tenderers should invariably uploaded the

scanned copies of EMD and transaction fee. The
price bid of only such tenderers will be opened.

26. Special Conditions 1. 1. The Bidders are eligible for award of 3

Medium size Packages only, out of all the
packages called for inthis bid notice and
bid notices to be issued up to 3/2007.
2. Bids will be opened in seriatum one after
another as per packages in serial number
wise as prescribed in Bid Notices issued.
3. The moment the Bidder is found
successful in Three Packages, the Price
Bids of that Bidder for further Packages
will not be opened.
4. Tenders with an excess of more than 5%
over the internal benchmark value /
Estimated Contract Value arrived by the
Department shall be summarily rejected.
5. In respect of tenders beyond 25% less
than internal benchmark/ Estimated

without which the tender will not be
considered for opening the price bid.
7. The bidders intended to know the
procedure of bid submission on e-
procurement platform; suitable training
will be given by M/s. C1 India Ltd.,
Khairatabad, Hyderabad.
8. Government reserves the right to alter
any conditions.
9. In the process, if the works are stalled
due to legal intervention or due to natural
calamities, Government reserves the right
not to pay any compensation.
The bidder should invariably get registered
before submission of the bid and the bid will
not be opened and rejected out right if the
proof of registration is not submitted before
opening of the price bid.
