To apply transformation for an image.

PROCEDURE:

Step1:Import an image by choosing FileOpen.

Step2:Choose EditFree Transform or press Ctrl+T.

Step3: Transform picture as you need.

Step4:Press enter, now the image is transformed based on with necessary angle.

RESULT:

Thus we applied transformation effect for an image.


Ex.No:2 CORRECTING BRIGHTNESS AND CONTRAST

To correct brightness and contrast value of an image.

PROCEDURE:

Step1:Import an image by choosing FileOpen.

Step2:Choose Image AdjustmentsBrightness and Contrast.

Step3:Set the brightness and contrast value as desired.

Step4:Press Enter to fix the changes.

RESULT:

Thus image is brightened and contrasted using Photoshop.


Ex.No:3 USING SPONGE TOOL

To saturate or desaturate the areas of an image.

PROCEDURE:

Step1:Import an image by choosing FileOpen.

Step2:Select sponge tool from tool box.

Step3:Sponge the image where you want to saturate or desaturate the area.

Step4:Click and drag to alter the desired image.

RESULT:

Thus sponge tool was demonstrated successfully.


Ex.No:4 USING CLONE STAMP TOOL

To work with clone stamp tool.

CLONE STAMP TOOL:

To clone an area of the image, clone stamp tool is used.

PROCEDURE:

Step1:To clone an area of your image select clone stamp tool from tool box.

Step2:Hold down Alt and select the port of the clone.

Step3:Release Alt and move the cursor where ever you want to clone the image.

Step4:Click and drag the mouse (The pixels in dragging image are replaced by pixels of
cloned image).

NOTE:

The source point indicates the pixels that are being cloned.

RESULT:

Thus we can clone an area of an image by using clone stamp tool.


Ex.No:5 REMOVING AN ELEMENT FROM THE IMAGE

To remove an element from an image.

PROCEDURE:

Step1:Select the element you want to remove using the lasso tool.

Step2: Choose select  feather or press Ctrl+Alt+Dlt.Enter the value 8 in feather radius
option box then press enter.

Step3:Press Ctrl+D or choose select Deselect to deselect the element.

Step4:If you wish to cover the removed space then useclone stamp tool for cloning the
adjacent area.

RESULT:

Thus the element has been removed from the image.

Ex.No:6 DRAWING A DOCK USING CUSTOM SHAPE TOOL

To draw a dock using the custom shape tool.

PROCEDURE:

Step1:Open a new layer by choosing file horizontal arrow open.

Step2: Draw a circle using elliptical marquee tool and apply the foreground colour.

Step3: Select the horizontal type tool from the tool box and type the numbers in the
text boxalong the rim (mark sure that foreground colour is changed).

Step4: Choose the custom shape tool from the tool bar.

Step5: Select the desire arrow style from the shape option in the tool bar.

Step6: Place it from the middle of the circle towards the number as short hand and long
hand of the clock.

Step7:If you desire to draw a minute arrow by selecting different shape from the option
bar.

Step8: Close the application.

RESULT:

Thus the clock has been drawn using the custom shape tool.
Ex.No:7 TESTING LAB MODE

To create an image in lab mode.

PROCEDURE:

Step1: Create an new image in RGB colour mode.

Step2: Press D to make the foregroundcolour to black and background colour to white.

Step3: Press ctlr+2 or go to ‘a’ channel.

Step4: Click the gradient tool in tool box.

Step5: Select foreground, background option and linear gradient style from the option
bar.

Step6: Shift  drag with the gradient tool from top to bottom of the image.

Step7: Press ctrl+3 to go to ‘B’ channel.

Step8: Shift  drag from left to right with gradient tool.

Step9: Press ctrl + ~ to return to the composite display now all the channels can be
viewed at once.

RESULT:
Thus the image has been tested under the lab mode.
Ex.No:8 ISOLATING AN COMPLEX IMAGE

To isolate an image from a complex image.

PROCEDURE:

Step1: Use the rectangular mark tool to select some samples of background except to
the portion of the image which is to b isolated.

Step2: Double click on magic wand tool and enter the tolerance value as 16.

Step3: Choose select horizontalsimilar this selects the entire background.

Step4: Choose select  inverse or press ctrl + shift +I this selects the foreground and
deselects the background.

Step5: Choose select grow to modify the selection.

Step6: To make further adjustment in the selected image use the shift and alt keys.

Step7: Using the move tool move the complex image to the place you wish in another
image.

RESULT:

Thus the image has been isolated from the complex image.
Ex.No:9 ANTIQUE FRAMING

To set a frame for an image.

PROCEDURE:

Step1: Using marquee tool select the image either in the shape of rectangular or the full
image by pressing Ctrl+A.

Step2: Choose Select  Feather or press Ctrl+Alt+D specify the radius value and press
OK.

Step3: Choose Select Inverse or Ctrl+Shift+I then press D and then press
Ctrl+Backspace key (this fills the background colour to the selected area).

Step4: Select paint bucket tool.

Step5: Enter value in the tolerance option and turn on the anti aliased check box in the
options bar.

Step6: Click inside the feathered selected to fill it with black colour.

Step7: This result in an image fading into white and then black colour.

RESULT:

Thus the image used antique framing and executed successfully.


Ex.No:10 Healing Brush Tool

To create a Photoshop application and repair the image using healing brush tool.

PROCEDURE:

Step1: Open a Photoshop application

Step2: Import the image using FileOpenImage.

Step3: Select the healing brush tool from the toolbox.

Step4: Press Ctrl+Alt+Click to select the pattern for healing.

Step5: Then apply the healing brush tool on the repair place of the image.

Step6: Close the application.

Result:
The healing brush tool used to repair the image has been successfully performed and
verified.
Ex.No:11 ID-Card Design

To create an ID card using Photoshop Application.

PROCEDURE:

Step 1: Click File->New to open New Image Dialog Box.

Step 2: Enter Width = 2.125 inches and Height as 3.370 inches.

Step 3: Click OK to create an Image.

Step 4: Open the logo image and use lasso tool and move tool to move the logo.

Step 5: Adjust the size of logo using Transform.

Step 6: Open image of student and use lasso tool and move tool to move the image.

Step 7: Adjust size of image.

Step 8: Enter Name, Register Number, Class and other details using Text Box from
toolbox.

Step 9: Add lines using custom shape tool.

Step 10: Change the background as needed.

Step 11: Save the file and close the application.

RESULT:

Thus an ID card was created using Photoshop.

To create a visiting card using Photoshop Application.

PROCEDURE:

Step 1: Click File->New to open New Image Dialog Box.

Step 2: Enter Width as 3.5 inches and Height as 2inches.

Step 3: Click OK to create an Image.

Step 4: Open the logo image and use lasso tool and move tool to move the logo of your
company.

Step 5: Adjust the size of logo using Transform.

Step 6: Enter Name,Address, Contact number and other details using Text Box from
toolbox.

Step 7: Add lines and shapes using custom shape tool.

Step 8: Change the background as needed.

Step 9: Save the file and close the application.

RESULT:

Thus a visiting card was created using Photoshop.

Step3: Press Ctrl+F to apply the effect even more deeper.
