About the #SparkiChallenge
Challenge Brief

APEC (African Process Engineering Company) is an

engineering firm in the mining industry in South
Africa. The company has developed Sparki, a sensor
device that given a stimuli/trigger, enacts a pre-
programmed routine/action.

Although it is currently used in the mining

industry, APEC wants to explore Sparki’s
potential consumer uses, empowering the
younger ASEAN generations to submit their
ideas and business models, as well as potential
distribution channels.
