REFLECTION PAPER
AN INCONVINIENT TRUTH

The film entitled “An Inconvenient truth “by Davis Guggenheim on year 2006 was a very
functional movie with the purpose was to aim to alert the people about the increasing of global
emergency due to cause of global warming. This documentary presents what is really
happening above our atmosphere on what greenhouse gases affects the heat that we feel and
the heat that contributing it above that makes our atmosphere thinner.

I remember the film I watched on Netflix entitled Fire in paradise which has the same as this
documentary film. This was focuses on presenting particular statistics, recognizing the impacts
that have been brought to our attention, and arguing for us viewers in this important issue that
has not been fully taught to us especially in our school. I like the way too that Gore really
studied, preserved, and wanted to convey by recalling some topics, giving statistical
information’s, a lot of discussion that make his audience to more understand what he is wanted
to convey. I remember also when Gore recalls about what greenhouse gases affects the
atmosphere. In this too, he also discussed the scientific consensus on global warming, as well as
the current and future effects of global warming, emphasizing that global warming "is really not
a political issue, so much as a moral issue”. In this I understand more that the effect of human-
produced greenhouse gases will as same as the global warming is producing too.

With Gore’s representation It more helped me to understand what could be the possibly effect
to us by the said issue, he expanded his knowledge better to really more understand by his
audience, like me. It helped me to understand what to avoid and what to do to cope with this
global problem. In this documentary I learned what the importance of how to value more or
planet and to spread awareness to reduce the effect of this.
