GENERAL OBJECTIVES

Upon completing the 6-day Rural Health Unit (RHU) duty, the student nurse must be able to:

1. Respect the values, customs and beliefs of the community;

2. Demonstrate positive attitude, effective communication and collaboration to the officials

and residents of the community;

3. Observe the environmental conditions of the community;

4. Provide counseling and health care education to the families;

5. Identify the public health problems of the community;

6. Propose solutions corresponding to the public health problems;

7. Promote the health to the families and special populations;

8. Promote environmental health and sustainable development;

9. Formulate strategies to achieve health goals.
