(This film will mainly be silent so most of the script will

be what the characters are doing)

Fade in-

INT. CAR - NIGHT

ALEXIA, the oldest daughter, 17 years old, is driving home

from work. She pulls into the driveway.

INT. ________ - NIGHT

ALEXIA walks through the front door where she is greeted by

both of her dogs, Yukon and Spirit.

Spirit jumps up on ALEXIA. Yukon BARKS to get her attention.

ALEXIA pets them both and then Yukon and Spirit both run
away.

ALEXIA starts to walk downstairs into the kitchen.

INT. KITCHEN - NIGHT

ALEXIA meets her mother LAURA, 40 years old, caring, kind,

mistreated, who is in the kitchen cooking.

LAURA

Hey sweetie. How was school?

ALEXIA

(grumpy)

It was fine, thanks.

LAURA

What's wrong? Did something happen?

ALEXIA

No, I'm alright mom. I'm just gonna go lay in bed. I'll see
you tomorrow.

LAURA

Wait, what about our plans?

ALEXIA

What plans?

LAURA

I was going to take you and Illy to the mall. We need to get
outfits for the dinner party this weekend.

ALEXIA

(assertive)

Oh, mom. I really do not want to go. I've had a rough day and
I'd just rather be alone right now.

Laura watches Alexia leave.

ALEXIA turns around and walks up the stairs towards the

living room.

INT. STAIRCASE - NIGHT

ALEXIA runs into her sister, ILLYANA on the way upstairs.

ILLYANA, youngest daughter

ILLYANA smiles at ALEXIA but they don't say anything to each

other. ALEXIA continues to walk up the stairs past ILLYANA.

INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Alexia meets SURGE, father, 40 years old, cheerful, full of

energy, who is on the couch.

SURGE

"What's up, Lex?"

ALEXIA

"Nothing."

SURGE

"How was work?"

ALEXIA

"It was alright. I'm just gonna go to bed now."

ALEXIA walks away and down the hall towards her bedroom door.

INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

She opens the door slowly and is greeted by her cats, Spike
and Pixel. They MEOW and rub on her legs. She smiles and
bends down to pet them. Then she hangs her purse up on the
back of the door on the hanger and takes off her jacket.

ALEXIA heads towards her bed where she falls down on it, and
looks up at the ceiling.

Spike gets in her face. She smiles again but gently pushes
him away.

She turns over to eventually fall asleep.

INT. BEDROOM - DAY

ALEXIA wakes up the next morning, curious as to why it was

more quiet than usual.

ALEXIA throws the blanket off of her, stands up, looks out
the window, nothing out of the unusual. She leaves her room,
now it's getting weird. No dogs are greeting her.

INT. HALLWAY - DAY

ALEXIA walks down the hallway, she starts to think to

herself.

ALEXIA (V.O.)

Where are they? They must be on a walk with the dogs.

INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

ALEXIA turns around to look at the dresser that has storage

bins,

But ALEXIA sees that the dog leashes are still in the dog
bin.

ALEXIA notices the living room TV is still on. ALEXIA makes a

face, but shrugs it off. She looks to her right, the front
door is open.

INT. STAIRS - DAY

The cars were still in the driveway, where was everyone?

INT. KITCHEN - DAY

She walks into the kitchen, the fridge was left open. ALEXIA
starts to panic, she takes her phone out of her back pocket,
no answer. She calls her father, no answer.

ALEXIA starts to breathe harder as she gets more nervous.

ALEXIA starts to have flashbacks about what it was like when

her family was home with her.

INT. BACKYARD - DAY

Flashback #1

ALEXIA runs around the backyard with both of her dogs. They
BARK and jump around together. LAURA and SURGE are sitting on
the patio, they look at each other and smile.

-Fade out

INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

Flashback #2

ALEXIA, ILLYANA, LAURA, and SURGE are all sitting on the

couch together. There's a movie playing on the TV. Everyone
is laughing and smiling.

-Fade out

INT. KITCHEN - DAY

Flashback #3

LAURA and ALEXIA are baking cupcakes together. LAURA pulls

the cupcakes out of the oven and places them on the kitchen
counter. ALEXIA grabs the frosting to begin decorating the
cupcakes, LAURA quickly goes over, dips her finger in the
frosting and rubs it on ALEXIA'S nose. ALEXIA and LAURA both
laugh together. SURGE walks into the kitchen, ALEXIA AND
LAURA both run up to him and put frosting on his nose, and
right cheek. Everyone laughs.

INT. KITCHEN

Present

ALEXIA stares into the camera

The camera slowly moves away from her

She looks around frantically

ALEXIA V.O

Have I taken my family for granted?

She eventually realizes that they are never coming back and
she is alone, forever.

-Everything goes silent-

-Sad/emotional music-

-Screen goes black-
