RATATOUILLE

The movie is titled Ratatouille, it is called this way because the main actor, Remy,
the little chef who decided to take the risk and follow his greatest aspiration of
becoming a gourmet chef, recreates an old recipe previously made by the late
chef Auguste Gusteau, who by the way was the inspiring character for Remy to
become a great chef. The name of this unique recreated dish is Ratatouille,
however Remy noticed certain flaws in the recipe and changed it in such a way
that his talent and creativity was reflected in the exquisite dish that was later
tasted and tasted by Anton Ego, a valued diner who always gave bad reviews of
Gusteau's restaurant and made him lose a star. The film was released in 2007,
produced by Pixar Animation Studios, directed and written by Brad Bird. Winner
of the 2008 Academy Award in the "Best Animated Feature" category. The voices
of the main characters are played by Lou Romano (Alfredo Linguini), Peter
O'Toole (Anton Ego), Janeane Garofalo (Colette Tatou), Patton Oswalt (Remy),
Brad Garrett (Auguste Gusteau), Ian Holm (Skinner), Peter Sohn (Emile), John
Ratzenberger (Mustafa), Brian Dennehy (Django), Tony Fucile (Talon Labarthe)
and Tony Fucile (Health Inspector). The setting of the film is the city known as
"The City of Light", that is to say Paris. In fact, it is in this romantic city where
Colette and Alfredo Linguini, the son and heir to everything his deceased parents
owned, meet at Gustave Linguini's restaurant. They meet precisely at Gustaeu's
Restaurant, once he was hired by Skinner, who after Gustaeu's death was left in
charge of the restaurant and employed Linguini, but thanks to an exhaustive
investigation everything finally became the main heir, Linguini. Colette is the
bravest female figure in the whole film, because she was always a support and
was characterized by being tough. The restaurant had to be closed due to a
plague of rats, detected by the health inspector, this plague of rodents, are part
of a really important role because they supported in the most crucial and
important moment of the plot, which was when Anton Ego tasted the dish
recreated and improved by Remy. He loved it, no doubt. He called the chef to
congratulate him in person, however, Linguinni and Colette decided to bring to
light the real and spectacular Chef who was the creator of all the dishes that
made the restaurant renowned again for its peculiar and exquisite taste. Finally,
Anton Ego in his review states that Gusteou's belief that "anyone can cook" is
true, referring to the talented chef. Finally, Collete, Remy and Linguini open
another restaurant where they continue to delight us with their delicious dishes.

What I really liked about the movie was the way in which the cartoons are able to
transmit every detail, every feeling and emotion, that is to say, the production of
the movie is really fascinating, due to the special effects, the singular scenes and
above all the plot, the imagination of the creator of the movie is spectacular. I
think that every detail was interpreted in the right way, the music according to
the moment, the flashy colors so as not to lose the attention and the food, which
in fact I think that more than one viewer will want to take it out of the screen to
taste it. The scene I dislike is when Remy's father judges him and doesn't believe
in him and his great abilities.
Overall, every time I watch this movie I am fascinated by every detail, every little
moment of the movie I enjoy it as if it was the first time, I watch it. I highly
recommend it, especially if you are a food lover and want a story a little out of the
ordinary, a little tip is that the film is not suitable for people sensitive to rodents.
