international school of architecture for a
semester, go on study trips to foundational
sites of Asian architecture and urbanism,

Professional Recognition
The degree is recognised by the
Commonwealth Association of Architects
(CAA), the Hong Kong Institute of
Architects (HKIA), the Architects
Registration Board (ARB), and the Royal
Institute of British Architects (RIBA). This
means you can consider global
opportunities in multiple markets after
graduation.
Career Prospects
The programme sets you up for a
successful career in architectural design or
any other area of interest. After
graduation, you may choose to enter the
two-year MArch programme at HKU or
any other tertiary institution of your choice,
followed by a professional qualification
before registering as a practising architect.
