Research question:

Should Emirates Trucks Spare Parts expand more branches across the UAE to reach more
clients?

Rationale:

Emirates Trucks Spare Parts has very few branches in the UAE and the number of the
clients they have are limited. With the number of products they have (which include Bosch,
Mercedes, and high end battery packs) in their business they can look into expanding their
branches across UAE to have a broader audience which can then lead to higher profits.
Since most of their products are imported from different countries, Germany, Italy, France,
Belgium, Indonesia, Far East, Turkey Due to the current situation with COVID -19 the
shipments had been stopped for a while and now that the COVID - 19 restrictions are being
taken away slowly the business could start preparing on expanding their branches. The
company is still not sure if they have to move forward with this idea and in order to move
forward they’ll have to use new marketing strategies. With the help of my research question
the business will have an insight of how this idea might benefit the company into having
more clients.

Theoretical framework:

1.3: Swot analysis

1.5: Steeple analysis
1.6: Four P’s
1.7: Planning tools, decision tree, force field analysis.

Methodology:
Primary sources will include many interviews with the owner of Emirates truck spare parts
and also spending some time at the main office to see how things run on a day and how it
may help with the investigation.

Executive summary:
Emirates truck spare parts was established in the year 2003, and during the years has
expanded slowly across the UAE and the business wishes to expand more across UAE like
Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and other GCC countries. During the first interview the question that
was asked was “How could the business do better and what are the main issues that affect
the business?”. The answer to this question is what helped in creating the research question
“Should Emirates Trucks Spare Parts expand more branches across the UAE to reach more
clients?”. In order to get the right information for the investigation a series of questions
were also asked to certain staff members recommended by the owner which helped in
coming to a conclusion about the employees taking on expanding into more branches
interviewing the employees also helped understand the strength and weaknesses of the
company. To help the owner come to a conclusion I will be basing most of the conducted
research on how it will benefit the business if they expand their current branch in Umm al
quwain.

Introduction:
EMIRATES TRUCK SPARE PARTS has been serving the automotive spare parts market with
consumer satisfaction, competitive pricing, and quality conscious. They also have imports
from Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Indonesia, Far East, Turkey, where they have reliable
suppliers for Bearings, Batteries Etc. who keenly support the company to maintain quality
products as per the market requirements. The company wants to expand by building more
branches across the UAE in order to increase sales and have a bigger clientele. Though the
company is looking forward to expanding across the UAE, there will be a lot of obstacles
they'll have to look through before proceeding, like if this idea is the safest way or will it
affect them in the future. If in case through using specific business tools gives positive
feedback it could increase the sales and overall profit.
Method employed:
The research was mainly found using SWOT nalyisis ,PESTLE force field analysis. In order to
come to a conclusion with the research question both primary and secondary research
were used for the conclusion. Primary source is an interview conducted with the owner, in
which the first question asked, helped create the research question and further interviews
were conducted with employees to root out the strengths and weaknesses of the company
which helped in creating the SWOT analysis. With the help of spending a day in the office,
helped understand how the business operates daily and the owner helped in creating a
projected profit and loss account, if in case they decide to expand current branches. Paul
Hoang's business textbook was used as a secondary source which helped in choosing the
right tools in order to come to a conclusion with the research question.

Main results and findings:

If there is an increase in tax then there will Due to COVID- 19 regulations many
be a decrease in sales, due to the reason businesses are still trying to recover
that prices of the products being sold will financially. With competitions door to door
be increased. The company might lower with the business they made sure to follow
costs on products in order to keep building all COVID 19 protocols and stayed
up clientele but this could affect them in competitive.
the long term

equally, old customers are not to be treated COVID- 19 restrictions most customers
