How to Play
1. You can divide your class into teams, or you can let each individual play. There is no
limit to the number of teams or individuals that can play the game.

2. Have your vocabulary, review test, or topical questions in your hand.

3. Open Align the Stars. Click on the “Slide Show Menu” tab at the top, and then choose
“From the Beginning”. This will begin your PowerPoint game.

4. If you see a Security Alert when starting the game – Choose Enable this Content.

5. Choose the board you wish to play (1-10). Try not to use one that you have used
before, as students may remember where Santa was hiding last time.

6. Ask students to select 4 boxes behind which they believe Santa is hiding. (This will
speed up the game and prevent students from taking “years” to decide which box to look
behind once they have gotten a correct answer.)

7. Each team or individual is asked a question. If they answer correctly, the students can
pick one box. The teacher will then click on that box, if Santa is there that team wins. If
not, the game goes on.

8. If a team or individual finds Santa before you run out of questions, simply go back to
the beginning of the game and choose a different board. There are 10 unique boards.
