Make a summary of the above-mentioned case. What should have been

done by the management to mitigate, if not avoid, the losses and
damages?

Based on a report, the Asean Music Festival at the Ayala Triangle was
called off due to the overcrowding and some unruly concert goers which
resulted to some of them being hurt. After the performance of the Parokya ni
Edgar, a commotion erupted because some people became unruly as they
tried to get near the stage. Accordingly, some concertgoers were given first
aid treatment after a report of breathing difficulties. Some of them were
rushed to the hospital.
Before the event, the management should have a risk management
plan in place. Through this plan, they can formulate now a crowd control plan
which is crucial especially in a concert where many people are present. While
making their plan, they should have properly identified and estimated on how
many people does the venue can accommodate so that they can limit the
number of people entering in the Ayala Triangle Gardens. Moreover, it is
critical that event organizers employ enough security personnel to assist in
the management of attendance. When there aren't enough security
professionals on hand, it might cause confusion among concert-goers to
encroach on off-limits areas. Finally, all members of the event crew must be
trained in order to assist prevent audience problems. The risks of a crowd
panic are much reduced when everyone on the team understands what is
required of them and what they are to do in the case of an evacuation crisis or
other unanticipated scenario.
Event security is one piece of the risk mitigation, but event organizers
and management are at risk of severe, even fatal, crowd-related accidents
without appropriate planning, management, and training. Also, having the risk
management plan and crowd control plan is a must in hosting an event like
this.
