    MODULE 1 – ACTIVITY 3

    THE DIVINE REVELATION, THROUGH THE SACRED TEXTS (Divine Revelation)

    Reflections to be answered:

    1.      Read the Book of Leviticus 26:3-13. Explain the blessings that God has given to his chosen people.

    2.      There are people who tell us that we must keep the Law and be good in order to be saved. Is it true? Why.

    3.      The Bible clearly states that “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you and your family will be saved.”( Acts 16:31). In your own
    understanding, can you be saved even you have many sins or violation against the 10 Commandments as long as you firmly believe
    in the Lord Jesus? Explain your answer.

    4.      If Salvation has nothing to do with our own works how do you explain Philippians 2:12, “…work out your own salvation with fear
    and trembling.”?

    5.      Explain the verse “Faith of itself, if it does not have good works, is dead. For just as a body without a spirit is dead, so also faith
    without works or actions is dead.” (James 2:17, 26)
